eBay Boycott Feb. 18th - 25th 2008!

eBay Sellers & Buyers Boycott Feb. 18th - 25th!
Many sellers on eBay are up in arms about the Final Value Fee increase! Even though ebay is making a few changes by offering free images and free gallery images and a couple other features at no or low costs they final value fee costs more than those other free items they will be giving to us plus more.

Also eBay is putting a new feedback policy into place. Basically eBay is favoring buyers over sellers and giving sellers less control over protecting them self from buyers who will try to take advantage of honest sellers for their own gain. I have personally never had a problem with any of my buyers in this respect but it still seems unfair.

We hope that all buyers will also take part in this so that we can all help send eBay a message that we are not going to lay down and take all the high interest fees they keep slapping on us each year. eBay is making it not worth selling anything on their site period.

I will be taking part of the boycott against eBay from Feb 18th though the 25th.

After the 25th of Feb. I will only list once a week on eBay only because this is where I draw most of my customer base. I will be taking my business to other areas and I will still send out e-mails to you when I have something new.

Kate Lemoni

This post is in honor of Kate Lemoni. All though we never got to meet her here on earth I know one day we will be with her in heaven. I have to tell you how excited I was to be an auntie to our first baby girl on my husbands side of our family. We believe that Kate went to be with Jesus on or around the last day of Dec. or the 1st of Jan. On Jan. 3rd Kate Lemoni was delivered by c-section as a still birth. It was one of the most saddest times of our families life. On Jan. 11th we had services for little Kate Lemoni . It hurt so bad to see the pain in my Sister In Laws eyes and I hurt and cried right there with her. Although I know I do not know the full pain the mother felt it tore my heart out to see her grief so and I could only imagine the night mare she endured the past few weeks. I am sure she had a hard day on Jan. 16th as that would have been her scheduled c-section day. I wish so much that little sweet Kate could be here with us to hug and kiss on but I guess God felt it was best to take sweet Kate Lemoni to heaven to be with him. We all will long for what could have been but know full well she is in a better place. God Blesses in all things.

The Night Jesus Came

It was the night Jesus came
and all through the house,
not a person was praying,
not one in the house...

The Bible was left
on the shelf without care,
for no one thought
Jesus would come there...

The children were dressing
to crawl into bed,
not once ever kneeling
or bowing their head...

And Mom in the rocking chair
with babe on her lap,
was watching the Late Show
as I took a nap...

When out of the east
there arose such a clatter,
I sprang to my feet
to see what was the matter...

Away to the window
I flew like a flash,
tore open the shutters
and lifted the sash...

When what to my wondering
eyes should appear,
but Angels proclaiming
that Jesus was here...

The light of His face
made me cover my head...
was Jesus returning
just like He'd said....

And though I possessed
worldly wisdom an d wealth,
I cried when I saw Him
in spite of myself...

In the Book of Life
which he held in his hand,
was written the name
of every saved man...

He spoke not a word
as he searched for my name,
when He said 'it's not here'
My head hung in shame...

The people whose names
had been written with love,
He gathered to take
to his Father above....

With those who were ready
He rose without sound,
while all of the others
were left standing around...

I fell to my knees
but it was too late,
I'd waited too long
and thus sealed my fate...

I stood and I cried
as they rose out of sight,
Oh, if only I'd known
that; this was the night...

In the words of this poem
the meaning is clear,
the coming of Jesus
is now drawing near...

There's only one life
and when comes the last call,
We'll find out that the Bible
was true after all.

Bee Movie!

We took our boys to see the Bee Movie today. It was the best. I just loved it so much our littlest one was like WOOOOOOOOOOW! It was so cute. Our oldest who is special needs had a hard time sitting still. So glad we were at the top out of the way and could block him in so he could not get away. Our middle boy was a little antsy but he seemed to like the movie too. I will be buying this for my kids when the movie comes out on dvd. ;) For sure!
